As I look back on this project, I must admit I was somewhat put-off by the number of questions and the amount of information you wanted to collect on my business prior to beginning what I saw as just a logo design. It wasn't until I saw the final product that I came to realize how important your knowledge of my business was to the final outcome. My initial request to "make me a logo" was, in hindsight, an almost laughably naive request. I have no doubt that there are many designers out there who would have taken the job, designed some images and moved on. You went about educating me on the importance of a logo as a central means of identifying and differentiating a business in the marketplace and as the nucleus of a strong marketing program. Although we don't do much (enough?) advertising, I know enough now to realize I don't know enough and I will be looking to you again to help us as we chart our advertising future.
